I’m a Southwest Florida offshore angler with more than 20 years of hands-on experience fishing these waters, specializing in bottom fishing for grouper and snapper. I’ve spent countless hours learning the Gulf—finding productive areas, refining techniques, testing tackle, reading conditions, and figuring out what consistently puts more fish in the boat.
I don’t just hand out coordinates. My consulting is built around teaching you how to catch fish and giving you the knowledge to repeat that success on your own. I’ll help you understand where and when to fish, how to set up your boat over structure, what equipment and tackle to use, how to rig baits, and the proper techniques for targeting the bottom species you want to catch.
Over the years, I’ve made plenty of expensive mistakes with spots, gear, timing, rigging, fuel, weather decisions, and fishing approaches. Those lessons have shaped the knowledge I share today. My goal is to help you avoid the same trial-and-error process, save time and money, and get to catching more fish sooner.
Whether you’re new to offshore fishing, visiting Southwest Florida, or looking to improve your bottom-fishing game, I provide practical, real-world guidance based on experience—not theory. My goal is to help you fish smarter, feel more confident offshore, and consistently catch more grouper, snapper, and other Gulf bottom fish.
